Ultrasun. Sun protection made visible.

Studio Blyss developed the digital concept and screen design for ultrasun.com, the new web platform of the internationally renowned sun protection brand Ultrasun. In addition to the creative direction, we were also responsible for the structure, product range logic and imagery - with a clear goal: to make dermatological expertise visually tangible without tipping over into technical coldness.

  • Ultrasun is present in over 20 countries, with different product ranges, target groups and regulatory requirements. The previous website could neither meet this international requirement nor the innovative character of the brand.

    We were looking for a new platform that:
    - combines information and inspiration,
    - clearly displays product range logic for all countries,
    - and looks modern, emotional, but not fashionable.

    At the same time, the new site was not intended to be an e-commerce platform, but an informative brand hub for consumers and partners.

  • Studio Blyss developed the complete digital screen design, the information architecture and the overall communication logic of the new site.

    We structured the range into meaningful, filterable categories and developed access points based on skin needs, product types and application contexts. Individual entry points were created for each area to provide orientation - and promote conversion to retail.

    Special attention was paid to the imagery: instead of stock photos or studio shots, we used AI-generated key visuals that reinterpret skin, light and product aesthetics. This resulted in a new, unmistakable visual language that matches the umbrella brand but deliberately sets its own accents.

  • The new ultrasun.com is now a clearly structured, internationally adaptable website that combines information, expertise and brand emotion.

    It strengthens Ultrasun's positioning as a dermatologically specialized premium brand - and translates the product world into a visual language that is understood before it is read.


Typographic fine-tuning

Also part of the visual system: a new corporate font. With TT Norms, we have opted for a variable font that not only offers maximum flexibility in digital applications, but is also ideal for future packaging applications in the international rollout. The font supports over 280 languages - a decisive factor for a brand whose products are sold worldwide.

Uniform visual worlds - generated with the help of precisely controlled AI

Achieving a uniform visual language across several categories (baby, family, sport, face) would have been a huge challenge with conventional shoots due to limited budgets. With the help of AI, however, we were able to achieve this consistency much more easily and efficiently without compromising on visual quality.

The result: high-quality and versatile key visuals that present the brand's versatility in a modern and fresh way.
