Credit Suisse. A manual with a system - for knowledge that lasts.
How do you explain financial mathematics, investment strategies and economic theories on just under 200 pages - in a way that is understandable, accessible and visually appealing at the same time?
Studio Blyss designed a sound teaching aid for the Credit Suisse Young Investors Program that not only conveys complex content, but also functions as a workbook. With punched indexes, flexible binding and a visual system that also provides an overview of mathematical formulas.

The "Fundamental Investment Knowledge" workbook is a central element of Credit Suisse's Young Investors Program (YIP). At just under 200 pages, it conveys fundamental concepts from economics, financial mathematics and portfolio theory - in a well-founded, in-depth but also accessible way. The target group is young talents with a high affinity for numbers but very different levels of knowledge.
Studio Blyss was commissioned to prepare this complex teaching aid visually and structurally in such a way that the content becomes tangible - and the use of formulas, diagrams and data fields is not daunting, but motivating.
-
The challenge was to strike a balance between scientific accuracy and design clarity. We developed a visual system with clear typography, an intelligent color dramaturgy and a flexible grid that clearly displays different types of content - from formulas to practical examples.
We also structured the chapters with punched indexes, color-coded sections and a consistent visual hierarchy that provides both orientation and a reading aid. The handbook was printed in a flexible binding, making it easy to use like a workbook - even over long periods of time.
-
The content of the "Textbook" was expanded several times within the YIP - the visual system from Studio Blyss made this scaling possible without breaking the layout. Today, it is used in various training formats and has established itself as a modern educational tool that conveys even complex content in a didactically clever and visually high-quality way.
The project is an example of how corporate publishing can also set new standards in the education sector - through design that structures, guides and inspires.

Design that reduces complexity.
Whether customer magazine, workbook or market report - we design publications that not only look good, but also structure content intelligently. With attention to detail, a strategic eye and precise implementation. Let's talk about how your content should look in the future.
